DC6 Amir Hossein is a passionate materials researcher. With a solid background in the fatigue behavior of composite materials, he has now ventured into the study of metallic metamaterials under the guidance of Nima Razavi (NTNU) and Brecht van Hooreweder (KUL). To pursue this research, Amir and his wife relocated from the bustling city of Tehran to the serene and charming Trondheim in Norway. Despite the inviting environment that encourages hiking and running, Amir dedicates most of his time to his research. His dedication is evident, with 12 journal articles published to date. “Doing research is what truly makes me happy,” he says.
